The under mentioned article has a prediction game, where you predict W/L/D for every fixture and you end up with your own final league table. I completed it very quickly, each match on instinct, finishing with Boro (4th) playing Millwall, while Luton play Swansea, while Blackpool, Reading and Wigan are relegated. It is a bit of fun and it would be interesting to see how all of diasboro results come out.

Come on BORO.

FD - We had Sky via satellite in Leyland but dishes aren’t allowed here, so I switched to BTTV via their box. It seems to work fine but isn’t quite as intuitive as the Sky box. I’m aware that Sky will be gradually moving on from dishes to streaming and this may be an option when my BT contract is up for renewal.

@forever-dormo At our age, we must wait some times for erection (of the tower). It happens.

Anyway, it is the same in Finland, that the telephone companies don't usually provide a telephone service. Perhaps they think telephone or mobile  phones has no future. Up the Boro!

@exmil I had us playing Mogga at the first round 🤣.

1 Burnley         99
2 Sheffield Utd 91
3 Luton Town   82
4 Middlesbro'    80
5 Sunderland    69
6 Coventry City 69
7 Millwall           69
8 Blackburn       67
9 Preston           67
10 West Brom   66

And the bottom:

22 Reading    44
23 Blackpool 41
24 Wigan        41

At least we are through to the play-offs  - so saving our finger nails for two Mondays before the real matches will start. Up the Boro!

@exmil - Probably with completely different results predicted than in the exmil Xhallenge Part 3, this is what I ended up with (so you know this will be a work of total fiction):

Burnley    -  99 points

Sheff U    -   91

BORO      -   80

Luton       -   80

Millwall      -  71

Coventry   -  69

Swansea   -   68

Norwich     -   69

S'land       -   66

Blackburn  -   66

PNE          -    66

WBA         -   63

Watford    -    63

Bristol C   -    60

Hull         -     57

Stoke      -     56

HUDDERSFIELD - 53

Birmingham -  53

Rotherham  -  48

QPR            -   47

Cardiff         -  47

Reading       -  44

Wigan          -  42

Blackpool      -  41.

Let's see what happens...

Interestingly if Rotherham beat Cardiff at home tonight then they are safe from relegation.

Come on BORO.

@exmil

I had us playing Sunderland and Luton playing Coventry.  Relegated were Reading, Wigan and Blackpool so Warnock does manage yet another great escape.  But like Peter Snow's Swingometer - 'remember, it's just a bit of fun'

Julio Arca gets first managerial job as new boss of South Shields. The former Boro and Sunderland midfielder also played three season at South Shields but after a five year stint away, he rejoins the club as a manager.

There are so many matches between the potential play-off teams during the last two matches of normal Championship season, that is totally inpossible to say who will finish in the fifth and sixth place. It will be an exciting end to the season.

Unfortunately Boro have nothing to play for in the next two games. But I prefer this to the situation we had last season when we went to Preston and lost the chance to the play-offs.

Just happy to follow the competors fighting for their lives. Up the Boro!

Of course, the match on Monday is not meaningless for Rotherham United. They lost at home to Cardiff yesterday and are just 3 points above the drop zone. Boro's away match starts at 13:00 BST.

Up the Boro!
