Great work Andy. A game against Mrs B’s home town team, although none of her family live there anymore after her 90 year old parents moved last year t...
@lenmasterman I think that’s very harsh and not just on our keeper. I too saw no need to replace Sol Bryn but I haven’t seen a massive deterioration f...
@forever-dormo Maybe too high? Some of the criticisms of KH on Social Media from Boro supporters this evening are horrendous.
@boro-beckys-dad That view, though, is why we are where we are.
Good points about political comments being made by several posters. I’ll rein it in (although I vowed when I reached 60 not to turn a blind eye to cer...
@exmil I’d ask you to list the benefits but won’t bother. I don’t like your use of the term “poison dwarf” though. This forum (and you) are better tha...
@forever-dormo Even more surprising may be that he had two speeches prepared, one backing membership and one supporting Brexit, before he ultimately t...
@k-p-in-spain Full marks for that admission, KP. I wish some politicians could be as brave as to admit they got it wrong.
@k-p-in-spain Equally, we could emulate Bolton & Burnley…
@jarkko Next time, just ask one of us to buy the items for you and we’ll stick them in the post as a gift. Obviously, as I’ve made my feelings well...
@forever-dormo That’s my fear if we win promotion, although I accept that attaining settled PL status is possible, however unlikely. In my 50s, I u...
Thanks FD, for a great Start(er) (or, given the clever use of content, maybe that should be a great Finnish!).
@werdermouth “Can you write them every week? Can you write them every week?”
We’re struggling to get out from the back now that Stoke are pressing. I’d be tempted to bring TC on to try and hold the ball up front.

@k-p-in-spain Thanks KP. To bookend my birthday with two wins would be very special.
Well that was tense but I think we deserved the win. I see that our next opponents, Stoke, have gone up to 4th. There aren’t many easy games in this l...
@simonfallaha A first rate post and I particularly liked the comparison between D-L-D and Middlesbrough. I’ve always fancied a trip over to visit your...
Selwyn’s excellent starter and subsequent comments from other contributors has got me thinking about how we all found ourselves in Middlesbrough. M...
I’m dismayed by all this - the FA have bottled it and waited far too long to make a decision. I agree that we have to move on, but I hate cheats and h...
Strelec has scored for Slovakia against Moldova.
A great starter, Selwyn - it seems odd sometimes that our love for our town remains, even after we’ve left its environs. It’s not a beautiful nor pict...
@jarkko I agree. I was very surprised that he wasn’t introduced on the pitch. I suspect it will have been his decision to keep out of the limelight.
I watched the game on the stream and got quite emotional at times. It was great to see the passion for our club from so many of our players and, of co...
Still no sign of a decision on the Spygate case? How can it be taking so long to come up with a conclusion? I’ll be staggered if we get to the end of ...
Imagine having to listen to that commentary every week on BBC Radio Tees! Give me Neil Maddison every time.
@rich-llewelyn-evans There’s no doubt that TC gives his all, but to what effect? If we accept that he’s rarely going to go around his fullback to cros...
@philip-of-huddersfield He was a consummate professional who’d been around the block and played at a high level. I recall we were all sad to see him l...
