I can't disagree with any of that but my interest is how you bring them up to speed with thinly veiled criticism, it's not exactly motivational for strangers in a strange land. I always fall back on Typical Boro as the catch all. Boro are never noted for being predictable although thinking about it maybe they are predictable now and that's the problem. those two games seem to be growing in importance now and Morsy, Saville and Wing that you mentioned I didn't understand that either.

Never mind it's all part of being a Boro supporter. never a dull moment, well apart from the actual game.

Just catching up on this thread, thanks for the link to that article on Boro tactics and does help explain the limitations of our play under Warnock where it seems our shape is somewhat determined by our tactics. No surprise that Boro players are not in space to receive a pass if they get castigated for losing their man - they must be fearful of straying too far away in case they are blamed or even dropped.

That's also probably why most of goals this season seem to be great ones as this is probably the only way we're going to score!
