I was under the impression that free to air was to be provided by SKY on Pick TV, yet on my box it is showing “ Caught on Dashcam”. Can anybody see Norwich vs Southampton on this channel?

Yes, I could only find the caught on dashcam programme too - I found this online, which sounds like maybe you still need a Sky box or some kind of subscription to view the Correct Sky Pick channel...

Sky has already confirmed that 25 of its 64 games will be offered on its free-to-air channel, Sky Pick - available on Sky to subscribers without a Sky Sports add-on, as well as on Freeview channel 144.

With the high demand worldwide for PL football there’s no shortage of places to watch every game. I’m hoping the same applies to Championship football.

A decidedly unfit looking Norwich currently being put to the sword by Southampton.

I always thought that Boro were involved in one of the most astonishing turnabouts in football against the same opponents during the 1930/31 season when having lost 0-7 to Leeds United in October they then won the return fixture four months later at Ayresome Park 5-0.

Barcelona lost 0-4 to Paris St Germain in a Champions League game in 2017 but a fortnight later won the second leg 6-1 scoring 3 goals in the last seven minutes.

Now add to that this week’s match between Wigan Athletic and Hull City. Last season Wigan going for almost an impossible number of wins  to make up for their 12 point reduction beating Hull City 8-0 and failing by 2 points to avoid relegation, but at the same venue this week losing to the same opponents 0-5. Of course Wigan are fighting a second relegation whilst Hull are fighting for promotion and Wigan have a completely different team this season, but Hull too have lost a few players compared to last season. As Greavsie used to say “It’s a funny old game”.

Here’s another astonishing turnaround involving Leeds United albeit against different clubs. Their biggest ever win and biggest ever defeat occurred in the same year although not in the same season. In April 1934 they beat Leicester 8-0, but four months later lost 1-8 to Stoke City both matches in the First Division.

However in the Fourth Division Hartlepool recorded their highest ever win in April 1959 10-1 against Barrow and their biggest ever defeat in March 1962 three years later 1-10 against Wrexham.
