Good to hear from you, OFB. Hope the op goes well.
@philip-of-huddersfield Agree with that. We had too many players wanting to come inside into the defensive traffic. On the left we even had a right-...
I'm not entirely sure why, maybe it's the lull of between seasons and the fact that the World Cup hasn't really caught my attention yet, but I decided...
@exmil I’m sceptical that such a clause could exist when City are no longer involved in the transfer. I’ve never heard of that in any deal before. ...
Top work, Powmill - thanks for running it again and well done to Dormo! It's a rare year where I suspect a number of us are quite happy to have been...
@lenmasterman Yes, nowadays the Head Coach is often accountable even if he is not responsible. Slot was significantly hampered by Alexander Isak’...
@pedro Wikipedia lists him as right winger. Maybe that explains why the goals tally isn’t particularly eye catching.
For those of us that just want to forget about the Playoff Final now, I've added a new thread: Summer Transfer Window – 2025-26 – Diasboro Forum
@pedro Thanks for those couple of bits of extra info, Pedro. If we’re going to play with wingbacks then I’d be tempted to throw Munroe in for the...

@pedro My assumption is that both Malanda and Morris will stay for another season. Perhaps that’s a big assumption but I’d be surprised if we were t...
After an insanely busy fortnight I missed out on the blog during the Spygate and Playoff traumas. Firstly a huge thanks to first OFB and then Clive ...
Looking forward to the binoculars celebration when Conway scores.
Top work, Martin, and thanks so much for stepping up 👏 👏 👏
Half a pint is quite expensive these days, Werder! At least it is back here in the UK. I have a cunning plan though. The odds of Boro winning, Ips...
Absolutely brilliant, Clive. Really enjoyed that one and a fitting way to end the regular season. Bravo. I’d also be more than happy to contribute i...
Sold! Many thanks, Martin. I hope it’s not needed but only because it means we’ve gone up automatically.
With the playoffs looming, maybe we should do winner stays on?! If anyone does want to put their hand up for previewing a playoff game or two (assum...
I wasn’t very impressed with the first half today but we got ourselves two up somehow - pretty much the opposition of how things have been going since...
There’s been a general feeling recently that “it’s all well and good dominating play and having loads of possession but you have to win games”. Pres...
I’ll definitely settle for a Boro “Lost Count” - “Whatever” Watford scoreline.
Nice work, Pedro. Always good to see a fresh face from the academy make his debut at this stage of the season. Thanks for volunteering to cover OFB ...
What are the ingredients to creating chances and scoring goals? I would say the basics are a midfield and forward line that includes some real pace ...
Admittedly there’s no Hackney or McGree but so far it’s another game where Boro’s lack of attacking pace, power or creativity has been laid bare. Th...
With expectations for the season lowered a touch, perhaps Boro will feel a little less pressure tonight. Wednesday of course have absolutely nothing...
Terrific opener. Selwynoz. Thank you for that.
