Seriously, I am happy the cheating saga is over. Justice done, but I feel a bit sorry for their club and especially fans. I wish we had beaten them at Riverside - all this negativity would have been saved. Had we won, Soton would have got a six points deduction (or similar) for next season and a ban for their coaching team. No hassle for Hull or Soton fans.
Personally I would have enjoyed the Boro win more on the pitch. But Southampton cheated, so we deserve to be in the final. So I will try to enjoy the next few days.

Saturday feels a bit like a free hit somehow. Very few Forum members seemed to be confident that we’d navigate our way to the Playoff Final and yet there we are.
At the start of the season we’d have bitten anyone’s hand off to be there, by the two thirds point we’d have expected automatic promotion and at the end of the season proper we had little hope of going to Wembley. Southampton seemed to be the playoff favourites - how well had they done with their unbeaten run and manager of the month awards?
We’re one game away from fulfilling SG and KH’s dream (albeit with a squad that might flounder in the EPL) - let’s all enjoy, what’s been a brilliant season and a rare chance of glory.
