So we lost our third choise goal keeper to Salford City. J. Jones never played a single minute for Boro while at the club.
Up the Boro!
@chris-from-barlby Crowdstrike 🤔 on Thursday there was only a limited number of tickets available, which a person can only purchase from the club ticket office, no walk up sales.
Come on BORO.
@exmil Did you - or anyone on the blog - see Boro play yesterday? Up the Boro!
@k-p-in-spain We still have 3 quality keepers at the club. So no changes needed IF Carrick want it that way.
Dieng seems to be a clear number one now. My suggestion is to name Glover and Sol Brynn on the bench in turns. So to keep them both happy and in ready for an injury to the nr. one keeper.
And of course, if one of them leaves, we could always sign a number three keeper on loan or short term contrack. Up the Boro!
Zach Hemming has gone on loan to Leyton Orient. Sol Brynn was there last season and was their player of the season. There is paper talk of Darren Randolph coming back as number 3 so Glover probably on his way as he wants to regain his place in the Socceroos squad.
Clarke for Lenihan is the only halftime change, not surprisingly.
Come on BORO.
FT 1-0, Boro made a total of 9 changes in the second half.
Come on BORO.

Hope this works for everyone.
Come on BORO.
Middlesbrough are in initial talks with Bristol City over the signing of Tommy Conway. (Sky Sports)
OFB
Conway featured in 39 of Bristol City’s 46 Championship matches last season and added to the scoresheet ten times.
However, he has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Ashton Gate and has turned down the offer to sign a new deal.
Hello, chaps! Currently at a campsite at Beadnell, on the Northumberland Coast. Maybe Edinburgh and/or its environs next week. Football seems a lifetime away. Unless I heard news that Boro had signed de Bruyne, Harry Kane or Jude Bellingham I doubt it would have made it through to my consciousness. I don't suppose we WILL sign those players, though.
Bellingham was spotted last night in the Tontine talking to Neil Bausor! I have that on very good authority from my good Korean friend, Tung-In Chic.
Enjoy your holiday!
At last, a Tontine rumour to get our teeth into. Must take them out of the glass by the bed or it'll be tongue-in-cheek too.
UTB,
John

Come on BORO.
A crowd of around 14,000 are expected at the Riverside tomorrow for our last pre season friendly against Heerenveen.
Come on BORO.
BTW, has anyone heard about Mogga since he quitted at Birmingham.
I hope he is OK with his health now. Up the Boro!
Elsewhere, a good story about former Middlesbrough forward and England youngster Luke Williams in the Echo.
Up the Boro!
Thanks Jarkko. Well spotted. Luke was a very talented young prospect and it was sad that injury meant that he was unable to build upon his early promise. I wish him well.
BTW, has anyone heard about Mogga since he quitted at Birmingham.
I hope he is OK with his health now. Up the Boro!
There was this piece in the Sunderland Echo two weeks ago after he was spotted in the crowd at the Open in Scotland...
Hopefully, he's on the road to recovery but there's been no public announcement on the nature of illness other than he had an operation and further treatment as he wishes it to remain a private matter. I heard a few things mentioned when I was back in England last month but it would be wrong to make that public given his wishes. At least he appears to be looking well and taking it easy and resting.
Saw a photo of him at a sports event last week looked to have lost a lot of weight but still smiling

Any streams today ?
I couldn't fine any streams. And even the BBC Tees commentary was not available on BBC Sounds outside of the UK. So I had to follow the happenings only via the Echo and Teesside Live aka Gazette.
And a big thank you about the news concerning Mogga. Especially the link to the Sunlun Echo and a picture there was very welcome. I hope he will be OK soon.
Up the Boro!
