I think everything we have witnessed, and continue to witness, since Wilder was shown the door reinforces that he was the problem. For me he is a man that is too full of his own self-importance to see beyond it. There were reasons that SheffU's board decided it was time to let him go and as I took it, it was really all about him choosing not to work WITH the wider [executive/management] team around him rather than them dancing to his tune. Perhaps his tenure with the Boro was always going to be brief and to end the way it did. Interesting to see now that there is not a queue of clubs looking to take him on.
