@exmil - Well, we all know from experience that my predictions tend not to be accurate (hence my relegation in this year's competition). I will give it a go though, as follows:
Sunderland 2 - 1 Luton (1st goal 45 mins)
Coventry 1 - 2 Boro
Luton 2 - 2 Sunderland
Boro 2 - 1 Coventry
Time will tell...

Forever Dormo, thank you for your predictions but the playoffs are for the players who finished 3rd to 6th, this season it was jarkko, Norfolk and Boro, Andy R and KP in Spain, better luck next season.
Come on BORO.
@powmillnaemore I like the idea. Hadn't realised my predictions were so bad though. My crystal ball needs retuning.
And the first booking goes to Tommy Smith in the 16th minute! 🙁

Frim the Beeb's text commentary:
They've been their own worst enemy again here, Middlesbrough.
Zach Steffen's pass out is poor and Tommy Smith has to pull the Coventry player back as he threatened to break through.
And from Maddo a couple of minutes later:
Boro fast start has Riverside pulses racing
There is no messing from Middlesbrough. They are getting the ball down quickly, they're trying to play quickly and stretch Coventry as a team.
The intensity in this game, you can see it's there.

The second to Paddy in the 41st - the Beeb:
I think this is what you'd call taking one for the team.
Viktor Gyökeres cleverly allows the ball to run through his legs and beyond Paddy McNair, but as the Sky Blues forward attempts to roll his man and break clear McNair hauls him to the floor. And he knew he had to.
Yellow card.
