The clue is in the name, decomposing human bodies. Guaranteed to remove the lining of your lungs.
I did an apprenticeship as a Boilermaker at Dorman’s Britannia works, one of the years was spent working alongside the Platers, along with periods with Welders and spells with Burners, Riveters and on the Draughtsman’s floor. I finally plumped for welding. On the day I finished my time I left and vowed never to return. I couldn’t envisage spending my whole working life there, as many of the blokes I worked with had.
I must add though it provided what was a great grounding and life experience that sadly is no longer available to school leavers in the area.
@ken I doubt it would be Swarfega. Swarfega is used as a cleaner, a type of degreaser for your hands.
I think they do an after care product (and also a pre-use one) now although it is possible that they may have also done a hand care cream for use afterwards way back then.
Just remembered it was called Snowfire
