You are right. Lankshear missed the ball totally in front of the goal before the first minute was out. A stone-wall sitter.Not sure I would have rated Conway on a par with Cozier-Duberry with 8/10 - I thought while he had a good opening 10-15 minutes and does cover the pitch with enthusiasm, he doesn't always make the best decisions and wasted several opportunities to play in a teammate. Also not sure if Lankshear deserved a 7 just for the pass that Philips converted - probably had his least influential game in a Boro shirt.
By the way, he tried to shot the ball to the goal but couldn't and it went to Phillips who scored in the added-on time. It was never a pass!
But we still played well. Perhaps the other players had more time and space if the opposition pays extra attention to Lankshear.
Boy, if we this critical of our two strikers after the team has scored FOUR, there must be room for improvement in both performances and results. Up the Boro!

Funnily enough, clearing selected cookies is one thing I'd already learned to do as a result of a problem I was having a while ago logging in to my National Lottery account. Clearing cookies was suggested as one possible means of resolving the issue (it didn't!). However, I wasn't aware of the search facility, or rather, hadn't noticed it. It certainly the amount of time that can be wasted scrolling through them all to find the right one! 🙂 Thank you again.
During this season (as early as it is) people have commented on what will happen if Lankshear got injured, can I just point out we scored 4 goals on Saturday and Lankshear didn’t score any of them 🤔.
