I told Mrs B that I wasn’t going to watch this one after Saturday. I am of course!

So NW did not persuade Clayton to make himself available given the names on the team sheet/bench! 😎

I thought Pears was at fault for 2 of the goals on Saturday hence the  change tonight.

Only named 6 subs. Would have been good experience for some youngsters.

Jordan Rhodes on their bench.....

It does appear to be 4-4-2 - you could possibly play 4-2-3-1 with those players but there's probably no need to complicate matters. I noticed Clayton isn't in the squad so looks like Warnock didn't persuade him to play one last game. The other interesting non-selection is Roberts so maybe he's not on the radar for next season as you'd think if you were trying to persuade him to sign up you'd play him.

Hopefully Boro get the point they need to avoid the uncertainty of needing to wait for the Wigan appeal - which I still can't see any grounds for whatsoever!

Incidentally, I didn't mention that Werder Bremen were a few weeks ago in the relegation places going into their last game and it was looking bleak - they somehow won their last game 6-1 to finish third bottom and qualify for a play-off game against the second-tier play-off winners. They went on to win that game and remain by the skin of their teeth in the Bundesliga.

So can Boro finish the season in a similarly emphatic manner? No me neither but I fancy a 2-2 draw tonight with goals from Tav and Fry.

I’ve no idea what to expect tonight. My only prediction is that I don’t think we’ll need the point in the end.

The Wendies already a goal to the good after 10 minutes through Jacob Murphy.  🙁

And Charlton as well! When was the last time we wanted Leeds to win?

On the other hand, the Dirties lead Charlton by a goal & Blackburn are a goal up at Luton.  Long may it remain that way...  * prays *  Still 19th as things stand.

Boro battling against a not very good side. Both sides have had chances, Wed more shots from MF than should be allowed. Tav playing well but overdoing it little at times. Need more from Fletch and Britt.

Some strange scores to date. All to play for all the teams at both ends.

Can’t see Leeds conceding 3 goals in the second half. Boro safe, Charlton and Hull relegated, plucky Barnsley needing to hang on and hope that Fulham equalise, but I’d we happy if Wigan hang on as then the 12 point penalty will be irrelevant.

Agree although I really hope that Charlton can’t score 4!

I think the fat lady is starting her cool down exercises ready to depart from the wings to her  dressing room!

Goals galore, 32 and counting. Boro well safe now, but Wigan now in bottom 3 as things stand so Barnsley safe at the moment and Wigan relegated. I’m enjoying all the excitement now.
