No obvious place to post this:  Boro drawn away to Brentford in the third round of the FA Cup.

I'd forget about the FA Cup third round draw but I guess it could have been worse than Brentford away!

btw Stircrazy, thought I'd give you an appropriately named new thread 🙂

So I see.  😀  Cheers, Werder. 👍  I suppose I should have thought about starting one myself!  😑

@stircrazy Yes it's actually quite easy to start a thread when there's no obvious place to post something - hopefully this thread will get some use before the final 😉

I seem to remember Boro losing away to Brentford in the Fa Cup, in the sixties? No doubt it was the fifties but Ken will put me right on that one. Anyway it was obviously 'typical Boro'. We did the same with Wycombe I remember. Well, I think I remember...

Stay safe everyone.

UTB,

John

Boro's away tie against Brentford in the Emirates FA Cup third round will kick off at 6pm on Saturday January 9.

The match will be broadcast free of charge on the FA Player, exclusively delivered to homes by Deliveroo.

It's a second trip to the new Brentford Community Stadium for Boro after November's goalless draw, though this one could yet be the first there between the sides there with a crowd.
