He'll probably play more against teams in the bottom half but perhaps he's destined to be an impact sub - I wonder how Man City will view his lack of game time come January?

That is my worry Werder. Of course the player also won't be happy. Can City recall him ?

I'm sure City will be monitoring the situation as he's only managed just over 200 minutes pitch-time so far with three subbed appearances and a very late introduction off the bench - plus no goals and no assists.

It may depend if they think he's been educated to play better or is simply just not a good fit at Boro. I guess much will depend on how much he plays in the next four weeks and you'd think if he didn't feature much then maybe Neil Warnock might prefer someone else in the January window instead.

Of course it's up to the player to make his manager select him and Warnock said in his last press conference that he selects players who impress him during training. Clearly others are doing that and also having an impact during games too.

Same opinion as you re. The keeper, but I would ban him from leaving his line, his knowledge of angles is awful, and he thinks nothing of being outside his posts with someone charging in on our goal with blood in his eye. In fact, I would insist that he stay in the middle of his goal at all times, that way we know where he is.
