Footie tycoon Steve Gibson sacks blundering chauffeur who sent text to his wife calling her ‘f*** nuts’

I’ll pass on the Sun thanks.
I see that Martin and I'll raise you by passing on both the sun and the mail 🤫
I don't know much about the papers themselves, but I could do the chauffeur job for Steve. Especially taking him to the stadium and wait him on the stands. I have been in the automotive industry all my life and can drive a truck. Mind, I will have to take a hefty wage cut like Britt but I love the club and what Steve have done for Boro.
Where can I apply? 🤔 Up the Boro!
Two nights any more! And Boro will be back.
I am quite exited now. We have three must win matches but we are the underdogs now. We need results but at least we can affect the results.
I hope agent Woodgate reacts. We are due to a run of better results like in Autumn. Nothing to loose, lads!
Up the Boro!

I’ll see your raise and up the ante with the Express. 😉

I think you Telegraphed that manoeuvre Martin and I don't think I can Mirror it, so that makes you the Star in this particular exchange 😁
The only thing I see in those rags that I would believe is fish and chips.
And I would take them with a very large pinch of salt.

Interesting news about the Oxford keeper who was allegedly head butted yesterday by a member of Sunderland Coaching Staff.
Apparently he is being scouted by Boro as a potential recruit

Riverside to host two England Friendly Games
OFB
I will watch those games on TV as they'll be played at the Riverside.
Do they train on Rockliffe Park? All said was the England team have a camp in the North East. Surely Gareth knows the training facilities well at Hurworth, too.
I and my son have met Gareth in the changing room at Rockcliffe. A great captain. Pity he was replaced as a manager by Strachan.
Up the Boro!
Yes they will be using Hurworth as a base which they have used quite a few times before.
I remember going to the Riverside and watching England play captained by Southgate happy days

Malcolm,
Great link, and not a complete surprise.
Oxford United boss Karl Robinson is desperate to see Jack Stevens stay put despite Middlesbrough’s interest in the League One goalkeeper, speaking to the Oxford Mail.
Just so Redcar Red and others know !
Its an early kick of on Saturday
Middlesbrough's Championship clash with QPR at the Riverside on Saturday has been brought forward to avoid a clash with the funeral of Prince Philip.
The EFL announced that all 3pm kick-offs on Saturday would be rescheduled so as not to clash with HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh's funeral which takes place at the same time.
And Boro confirmed on Monday afternoon that the game had been brought forward to a 12.30pm kick-off.

Does anyone know what kind of a player Charlie Wyke is?
He claimed his 28th goal of the season with a crisp first-time volley yesterday when Sunderland lost 2-1 at Wigan.
As Sunderland look like just missing out automatic promotion with two defeats in four days, there is a possibility for Wyke to return to Riverside. I think his contract is up in the summer, too.
Transfermarkt:
Date of birth/Age: Dec 6, 1992 (28)
Citizenship: England
Height:1,88 m
Position:Centre-Forward (or Second Striker)

Just had a gander. Looks like they're playing the way Warnock wants the senior team to including this weird rugby union kick off we've developed where the ball is kicked towards the corner and we go charging after it. Lots of route 1 hoofs followed by bulling through the other side mixed with pace down the wings. I can't help feeling that this tactic is enough to get you to mid-table in the Championship these days but that most teams can't be bullied anymore.
Towards the end there's a number 16 on our right wing who appears to be about 5 years old and runs like Billy Whizz with his legs seeming to rotate at twice the speed they should be.
Coburn does look to have potential but he also looks like a third year playing against 1st years.
