Just seen that Villa have had sanctions applied by UEFA so will have to sell players before they can buy. So it looks like we might get a windfall if they sell Roger’s.
@jarkko. I have also seen that reported in the EG but find it hard to believe given the club have announced their names on the released list and not mentioned ongoing talks as they have with DF.
In my view, they have both proved over three seasons they are not at the required level if we want to get out of this league. 😎
@k-p-in-spain - unless it means retaining them for a vastly reduced wage or pay as you play basis!
@boro-beckys-dad. I don’t think that will achieve what we need, which is players who can perform consistently at the required level; they are League 1 standard but have even struggled at that level to maintain performance levels.
It’s a hard pass from me. 😎
For OFB. The only consolation in signing Sarmiento, is that assuming Hull donate their 25% of the gate receipts to us, as is normal, then the 3 million total, will pay for him. 😮💨
