@malcolm

I think I know what’s going on.

Clearly the Boro hierarchy are keen for Akpom to repeat last season’s heroics so they’re taking no chances and ensuring he has the same pre-season as last year - none at all.

Smart move.

@Andy-R

A cunning plan. In fact, a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel

Speaking if missing players, where is Howson?

I just spotted that Howson supposedly ‘picked up a niggle’. Has he played at all in pre-season?

@k-p-in-spain

Apparently Ryan Giles has allegedly unfollowed Boro on his Twitter feed….

Does this mean the end ?

On another note, it has been revealed the following Football hero Gordon McQueen's brain to be donated to medical science https://mol.im/a/12317673 via https://dailym.ai/android

Don’t know what has happened but my version of Diasboro is not looking normal today and I can’t like comments.  Posting this in hope it rectifies itself.😎

KP,   I am sure I read that MC picked up a knock in our final game against Coventry.

So, how many weeks to recover?  Mmm!

Further to the above I also cannot reply/quote or edit comments.  Anyone else having similar problems.  The look of this thread seems to have changed since Andy posted @ 7:21.

Just a suggestion, sell Chuba and McNair for c.£20M and buy Cameron Archer!  Retreats to behind sofa and puts on tin helmet. 😉😎

Sorry haven't visited Diasboro recently having a summer break from football - just noticed that the layout has gone weird but I've not done anything at my end to cause it.

Have checked a few things and nothing obvious - updated the Wordpress and Forum software to see if that would help but still showing the same.

It could be the that either the Theme stylesheet or Wordpress stylesheet has changed but where and how could be hard to pin down - could be an issue with column widths on the Forum page but why is another story.

Looks like a problem that I won't be able to quickly resolve but not seen any similar problems reported by other sites that use the Forum software so it's likely something more specific to the Diasboro overall Theme and settings that has caused a conflict with something that has been updated automatically?

Anyway, I'll try to look into it later as I have to go out shortly - hopefully you can manage in meantime to post.

Don’t know if it will work on this new format but worth a try, highlights of last night’s game at Rotherham.

Come on BORO.

Speaking of which, the new away kit is a stunner. I wish it was in red and white and was the home kit.

OK, I've fixed the layout issue!

I was just picking up my son and driving back home when I had an idea - maybe there was some rogue html code in one of the comments that was causing the column width to go full-page.

Anyway, I checked other pages on the thread and they were displaying normally - so I went through the comments on the page that wasn't displaying properly and discovered a post from Selwynoz at 10:35pm that had quoted Andy's previous and then maybe something got copied incorrectly, which had then got some incorrect html tags in it.

So edited the post in my database and removed the quote and everything back to normal 😓

Just got to sort out the old 'Reacted' problem now that has come back after updating the Forum software - I'll do that after lunch 🙂

@deleriad

I agree, it should be the template for future Boro kits with the badge in the chest-band and the sponsor's logo underneath instead. Looks a well thought out design and interesting to see blue and yellow being used this time.

Btw, as mention earlier, I've been having a complete break from football for a about a month (I've even been watching the cricket highlights!) and have absolutely no idea who Boro have signed or moved on - I'll try to get up to speed in the next week but we're heading off to Italy at the end of next week for a couple of weeks (thankfully in the much cooler north near Venice) and have lots of preparations to do before then.

Which also means I'll be missing the start of the season, which now seems to be starting at the beginning of the school holidays these days.

@original-fat-bob.  Re Ryan Giles.  I heard that mentioned last night whilst listening to the Radio Tees match commentary.

I am not on Twitter but not reading too much into it given he has now returned to his parent club and it may have seemed disloyal to have continued with it.

He can easily reactivate it when he becomes a permanent Boro player. 😊😎

Looks like Boca Juniors to me - clearly we're trying everything we can to get the best from Payero.

Like it. A lot.

Sorry I should have said I like it too, I agree with Deleriad, why they didn't make the red kit the same layout...

@werdermouth

apologies to all re the 'rogue code'. When I hit 'Quote' it does always look a bit strange and I'm not sure where to begin my text.
