I wanted to comment on tomorrow’s game, too, but didn’t want to spoil my admiration for Martin. So here goes. Provided we are not over-knackered by ...
@martin-bellamy That is the most sublime opener, Martin! Under Milk Wood is one of my favourite works of literature of all time. I have a recording...
It gets worse. We had an XG of 3.12, 32 shots (only 5 on target) and 17 corners. They’re impressive statistics against a side as good as Millwall, esp...
Our home form in the last 5 games now reads D3 lost L2. For 3 goals. Shots for - hundreds. Touches in the opposition box - more hundreds. Chances crea...
18 blocked shots, the TV said! There are always two teams playing and you have to say Millwall defended superbly … well, like Lions. But how we didn’t...
I guess that answers the Coburn question………
@lenmasterman Superb post, Len. And many thanks for the mention and your compliments.
@original-fat-bob We may have got away with relatively light loads on most of our international absentees - provided there are no injuries - but I’...
I agree entirely with your post, Len. That said, I think Jarkko also has a point. Edwards could well have used Josh, probably in much the same way he ...
Thanks for a brilliant starter, Andy. As ever, you’ve hit all the nails on the head, covering all the key points of Friday’s game and Boro’s situation...
On another matter, I am now even more desperate for Boro to go up automatically than I was before. I have cocked up seriously. I assumed the playoff s...
@k-p-in-spain and martin bellamy That’s absolutely disgraceful, and totally typical of that money-grabbing club and its vile owners, especially when...
Frustrating doesn’t cover the half of it. Our amazing support got behind the lads for the first 25 minutes or so, but even by that stage we had quiete...
Yet more Sky TV disruption. How on earth are Boro fans supposed to get to Ipswich - which is notoriously difficult for transport links - for 12.00 on ...
This is completely off-topic, so I hope you don't mind. My brother has a large collection of old football programmes, mainly Boro, from years back....
@forever-dormo I should lay the blame firmly at the door of your proof-reader!
@original-fat-bob Wonderful to hear from you, Bob! I hope you’re soon fighting fit again, have fully operational eyes and can take your rightful p...
@forever-dormo ‘It must be different for the members of the Press for whom this is a full time job, every week and often twice a week, however they...
Thanks Powmill. Mid-table mediocrity beckons again for me ……….
@werdermouth OUCH! That stings! Great photo. Thanks.
Good post, dormo!
Some thoughts on yesterday’s game The sense of relief around the Riverside when Boro scored was absolutely palpable, only for it to be completely d...
Thanks for an interesting and informative opener, Jarkko. As ever, you have done fantastically well in a foreign language. Well done! This game is ...
We are so poor at set pieces. We had 11 corners, and still nobody got a head on the ball to nod it goalwards. Where are Matt Clarke and Daniel Ayala w...
@boro-beckys-dad ‘Given that Charltons nickname of The Addicks is thought to be a Sarf London pronunciation of haddock, I will go for Boro to batte...
For info, I’ll post the Charlton preview Monday evening, which should allow most people to comment on Boro’s tremendous win at QPR.
Friends I can now confirm that Boro are officially safe from relegation for another season. It’s been a close run thing. Phew! 😂😉
