Hope Bolasie does well (obviously). Clearly he hasn't played much football and that is a major concern but he did very well for Neil Warnock in the past and let's hope he can be revitalised. You'd like to think that Bolasie will be desperate to play and do well, playing with something to prove for which we can be the beneficiaries.

However, the best part of the deal for me is that it frees Tav (when he's back) to go into central midfield and give us some much needed quick, forward passing and a bit of zest in what has been a cumbersome area of the team. Even if Bolasie is no better than what we already have on the right wing, we can improve with that better balance in central midfield.

Not that I expect that for the Norwich game as both Tav and Bolasie are unlikely to be fit enough whilst we'll go there looking to spoil in any case.

With regards to Bolasie, yes he has had bad injuries, yes he hasn’t played a competitive game for a good while but it was the same for Watmore and in my opinion he turned out to be a good piece of business. Bolasie is on loan until the end of the season so he has 4 months until he is a free agent and to earn a contract with BORO (sound familiar) I think it is a gamble worth taking. I will not judge him until the end of the season and hopefully he could be the one to assist the likes of Akpom to start scoring.

 Come on BORO.
