Their goalkeeper was MoM apparently. Said by the English commentator.
Love Boro, me. Up the Boro!
Now that was a Friday night to savour - this was what we've been waiting for - none of this last-minute winner nonsense but a convincing top performance that takes Boro top of Championship! In reality 10-1 wouldn't have flattered Boro where they have now had over 30 shots on goal for the second game running.
Impressive performances from the front four and the midfield duo - who all linked up superbly together with McGree running the show with his best outing in some time. Scary thing is this team can get better going forward - though I'm not expecting such accommodating opponents every time as Bolton let's say played to our strengths with their high line. Probably explains why other teams play a low block against us - they won't be dissuaded if they watched this game!
Anyway, great start to the weekend...
WE ARE ALL SMILING NOW 😁😁😁
Was this performance the best this year? Were there any better ones last season ?
What I really liked was the passing and movement of the players and you could see how much the players were enjoying playing.
So, it’s top of the League !!
We can all relax and watch the results tomorrow in the knowledge that Boro are a real force in this Division.
Philip of Huddersfield 👍😁👍
Keith Hill, despite being an ex Bolton manager, can't seem to stop purring:
Middlesbrough have something special. Their creative players are artists, and so gifted. The whole squad works like soldiers and they work hard for the manager.
I'd go as far as saying that they work harder than almost any other Championship squad.
OMG.
That was amazing and yet at 3-1 there was still that sneaking feeling that something could go wrong. Thankfully, it didn't. Maybe we have to just look at the goals and the general play and forget the odd ones that we give away.
For me the biggest takeaway is not about individuals - although Morris and McGree were superb - but rather how everybody seems to know what they should be doing with and without the ball. The movement, the short passes, the long passes; it all seems really natural which speaks volumes about the successful coaching.
This was an amazing morning. Well worth getting up at 5.30am.
