@forever-dormo I think we could have a humble pie party, too. At the moment most can join in, and after a few matches, all can join in.

It would be nice to meet, discuss all things Boro and have the World's largest pie to share. I don't know if we deserve a beer, though. Perhaps we should just have plain water with the humble pie.

How could we have been so nevative about our beloved Boro?

Up the aboro!

A good story about Kieran Scott and Morgan Rogers. The latter was followed for years and a sell-on clause confirmed for any future deal.

At the end of the article, there is a link to the whole interview of Kieran Scott and Cris Jones, too. The interview was originally at mfc.co.uk

Definately one to listen to. And how the reqruiment works nowadays. Up the Boro!

@jarkko - I heard the interview on the podcast.  Scott and Jones sounded very decent chaps and what they said seemed to make sense, but I accept things look a lot more rosy when your team is top of the league.

@presidentjump     Unfortunately, if Morris continues his upward trend, he could well be the next player we have major interest in. Is he actually just possibly edging ahead of HH?

I think they complement each other really well. Hackney does things that Morris can’t, Morris does things that Hackney can’t and that allow Hackney to do his things.

Both have become increasingly consistent, probably aided by the more solid structure around them and it’s great to see.

I feel like Hackney has a chance to be a good player at the next level in the way that Tavernier has become or James Morrison before him. Morris has the mentality and drive to do the same but I wonder if he’s big or quick enough to thrive at that level. A lot of the top level defensive midfielders are physical monsters these days.

However, that might be enough to put potential suitors off, which is fine by me.

@pedro I think if Morris can add a couple of goals to his game, similar to Hackney, then he will be certainly attractive to the bigger clubs.

I do also understand what Andy mentions about him being small in stature against some of the top defensive midfielders, I kind of see Morris as similar to a Sam Morsy, Grant Leadbitter etc, both great players.

@presidentjump Sam Morsy is without a club but we can’t sign him, because we have our full quota of players.

Come on BORO.

@pedro

I agree that Morris is edging ahead of HH and is looking like the major part of the two !

Morris reminds me of Gary Hamilton ! That’s going back isn’t it ? But he shows the same tenacity and will to win and has the same determination!

I loved Hammy and Morris is certainly becoming one of my favourite Boro players.

I don’t want to be so excited and full of wholesome praise at such an early stage of the season but the other evening against WBA it felt like a European night with the team, coaches and fans as one !

Hopefully this is the season !!
